Metro Transit has scheduled a hiring event for Saturday, January 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Illinois MetroBus Facility located at 801 North 47th Street in East St. Louis.
Metro Transit is currently hiring for the positions of Metro Mechanic, Metro Call-A-Ride Operator, and MetroBus Operator. On-site interviews will be provided and job offers will be extended to qualified candidates. Metro Transit notes that for the position of MetroBus Operator, interviews will be provided for both part-time and full-time positions.
Metro Transit is offering a $5000 signing bonus for Metro Mechanics and Metro Electricians. Applicants that are offered a Metro Mechanic position on January 25 will be eligible for the signing bonus. Electricians are eligible as well, however, interviews for the Metro Electrician position will not be available on January 25.
